7th Experimental Archaeology Conference dates confirmed 11-12 Jan 2013
Theme:Papers on any any topic related to experimental archaeology are welcome, but those that touch on the relationship between experimental and experiential approaches are particularly welcome.
Academic posters as well as oral papers are welcome, and this year we are pleased to announce that there will be a prize for the best student poster.

Byzantine-Era Industrial Olive Press Found
The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) has discovered an industrial olive press from the Byzantine-Muslim era (6th – 8th century CE). The site was found near Hod HaSharon in the course of IAA digs conducted in preparation for the paving of a new road. More info: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/158681
